These nostalgic "box" shelves have not been made for at least 50 years. They are unique
& will be a collectable. The very same person who made apple boxes as a 13 year old kid in 1946
and went on to making millions of them is now able to make these shelves available at this time
as a collectable item. Besides the five unique & collectable apple box labels, the shelves will be
dated & personalized by Dave himself.
Shelving side and end material is top grade solid wood; mostly northern Canadian Spruce. Both
the ends and sides are "one" piece; a full 10." wide cut. The bottom slates will be either Ponderosa
Pine or Spruce; 3/16" thick. End thickness is 3/4", sides are a scant 3/8" thick, making up a very
strong shelf. The rest of the material for the faceing & back strips is Spruce. It is assembled with
box nails, brads & or some screws.
This set of shelves will serve for many, many uses. It will fit well into many different settings &
decorations;--all rooms in homes, cabins, offices, works well around a computor stations,
retail stores and other areas of display, nicnak collections to name a few.
It makes for a real conversation piece. These shelves are available only from me for a limited time.
ABOUT LABELS
Labels are optional.
Labels can be left unattached if you want to stain the unit.
Many people collect old Fruit Labels. Some original labels have values into the hundreds of dollars.
Labels we use are reproductions specially sized for the horrizonal positioning on the shelving.
Pictured is the "kid" series labels; historic indian series, sports and mountain series.
